How Botlot works
We are a trust-and-settlement layer, not a bot host. We hold the money and arbitrate. Sellers own how they deliver.
- 1
List a proven bot
Sellers describe the bot, its track record, a price, and — critically — exactly how they'll deliver it. We stay out of the handover.
- 2
Buy with escrow
The buyer pays and the money is held by Botlot. Nothing reaches the seller yet.
- 3
Seller delivers
The seller delivers the bot however they described in the listing. We don't prescribe or run the method — the builder knows best how to transfer their bot's value.
- 4
Confirm & release
The buyer has a 7-day window to confirm value was delivered. On acceptance (or window expiry) funds release to the seller minus our ~10% fee.
- 5
Dispute, if needed
If delivery doesn't match the listing, funds stay held and we arbitrate against the seller's own stated delivery terms.
Safety: never share account passwords. Prefer handovers that don't require account access — shared project links, custom-GPT links, or a guided call. This is advice, not a rule we enforce: the seller owns and is responsible for their method.
